While the position is technically nonpartisan, The Tennessean reports a Fox win would deliver a win a for Republicans and a blow to the Democratic Party in Tennessee. Barry has received much of Metro’s political establishment’s endorsement.
A recent survey by The Tennessean showed the candidates in a dead heat.
