The historic Merritt Mansion in Wedgewood-Houston, a brick mansion that dates back to the 1800s sitting on over one acre of land, sold last month for $1.3 million.
Property records and sources indicate that the new owners may be Nashville rockers Kings of Leon. It wouldn’t be too far of a stretch for the local band to buy the historic manse, located at 441 Humphreys St.; their recording studio is located just down the block.
