A developer expects to begin construction this spring on a new subdivision that will bring 139 residences to Franklin’s home-building hot spot on the east side of Interstate 65.
Tap Root Hills is being developed on 62 acres that were part of the Ingraham family’s Tap Root Farm, an event center and beef cattle farm along Clovercroft Road. The new subdivision will feature homes ranging in size from 1,704 to 4,200 square feet. Prices will range from the high $300,000s to the $700,000s.
