Evergreen Real Estate has paid $2.7 million for 2.5 acres off 12th Avenue South where the company plans to build 49 detached single-family homes.
Demolition should begin soon on several triplexes on the property to make way for the project being called Archer at 12th. The first homes should be available early next year, said Hunter Connelly, a principal with Evergreen.
